"Approx 12 months ago, i thought myself as a reasonably fit person (or maybe not) who needed a new challenge,
but not in a gym, I hate running on a treadmill while getting instructions from a pimple faced teenager about running
faster and also trying to watch TV at the same time.....
I met with some friends who had already joined Troy's morning sessions and they began to pester me to join....
they raved how good it was.....I thought the idea of getting up for training at 6 am to train was mad and how was I
going to get to work on time anyway and look after a three month old son!!!!!
So after a few weeks of pestering I decided to give it a go, just for one month anyway. Well what can i say, i was hooked....
this was for me, this was my kind of stuff, out in the fresh air with all kinds of people with the same goal and focus
"getting fitter, leaner and healthier" and most of all making some friends.
The type of training Troy does has taken my overall fitness to a new level that I have not had since i was in my teens.
By the way, I mean overall, that is everything, not just running as you may do normally, Troy's training variety is fantastic!
Since joining I have competed in 3 adventure races, one mini triathlon and the NSW tough bloke challenge (coming 10th out of more than 600 people).....
I owe a lot to Troy regarding my fitness and approach to my health, he takes you to a level you could never achieve.....
anywhere.... and makes it fun.
With the good people I have met and the fitness I have reached.....so far.......I can look back on and say
"this was definitely worth it".
So get up, never mind the time, you can make it to work on time, stop making excuses, come and join us for the time of your
life and get fitter too, see you soon," Nelius

"Over the years, I have attended a number of different "bootcamp" style training classes with several organisations but found that I
lost interest after a short period, the classes very repetitive, I was only able to attend 3 times per week and the
trainers quite un-motivating.
I received a flyer in my letter box from Fitta Bodies and thought why not give them a go.
I have now been with "Trainer Troy" for over three years.
Not once has Troy repeated the same session so I have never been bored.
For this reason, I quite happily attend the 5 classes on offer a week (when I can).
I have seen greater fitness results with Troy than with any other personal trainer and just when you think you are at your fittest,
he pushes you that little bit further.
I love all the health tips that he provides and if he cannot answer a question he will go away and find out for you.
And thanks to Troy I:
1. Now regularly compete in Adventure Races - something that I never thought that I would do.
2. Completed the 100km Oxfam walk in 2009.
3. Have made friends for life.
Fitta Bodies is not bootcamp style training, it is fun, varied and done with a great bunch of people,
for me it has become a way of life!"

"Having had little success at large gym chains, getting one-on-one or small group training seemed the right way to go"

Having had little success at large gym chains, getting one-on-one or small group training seemed the right way to go.
I stumbled across Troy and Fitta Bodies and signed up to join at the start of March, 2009.
Troy got in touch with me straight away. I had no expectations, but that first boxing class
(in which I seriously doubted my ability to run the short distance across the field to the lake – with good reason too)
turned into regular mornings. I certainly never imagined that I’d find myself loving getting up for 6am workout sessions,
enjoying the exertion of clean and pressing a sandbag above my head, being invigorated by punching the living daylights out of
boxing pads or feeling a real sense of achievement in mastering the double-under, but the positive reinforcement and encouragement
from Troy certainly has resulted in all of that being true.
Troy’s approach to training is a holistic one, looking after both the physical fitness side of things,
but also providing great advice and input on dietary matters. It is great to have in Troy a consistent source of motivation
who demonstrates a personal and genuine interest in not only seeing his clients reach their fitness and health goals,
but someone who also enables clients to achieve beyond what they ever thought possible. It’s great to be trained by someone
who treats you as a mate, but who doesn’t hold back from giving a swift kick to the backside when needed.
That Troy is also a role model for physical fitness and healthy living makes his training even more effective.
I certainly have Troy to thank for the life-changing differences that I’ve made in my health and wellbeing since training with Fitta Bodies.

To fellow pre contemplators....
15 months ago I also precontemplated......."Will I"...".Won't I"......"what if..."
But I did.......I took the next step and actually joined..and now I am an active participant in these mornings groups......
If someone had said to me 15 months ago that I would be still attending in 15 months time...
I would have thought they were seriously insane and needed help.....however it was me who needed the help.....
Morning sessions for me are about getting together with a group of sensational like minded people....
with a trainer who has no limits ( !!!)......in the midst of training and breathing..
I try to have a social laugh and a few social words ( when Troy hasn't worked me to the ground!!) and a sense of achievement.
Seriously...if you are like me.....thinking I don't need to go to a group....I will feel embarrassed in a group....
everyone will be better than me.......I will make an ass of myself.....I can do it by myself....then rest assured you are not alone.....
I thought the same...and now, I wish that I didn't spend some much time justifying my reasons for not attending and actually got myself
out earlier and joined this fantastic group....
Since joining up...I feel fitter.......I feel healthier...had to embark on retail therapy for new clothes ( I know shame shame...yipee)...
I have achieved an adventure race, a triathlon and a few run races......and now I am still keen and willing to be a member for life!
Come join us.....you will not regret it!
Cheers

"Sometimes it's hard to get up for a 6.00am class, but by the end of the class I'm so glad I made the effort -
and if I miss a class, I wish I hadn't !"

I've been training with Troy for just on three years now.
When I started I was looking for a class that gave me variety to keep me interested,
and a trainer who was supportive and encouraging, to keep me on track & motivated.
The fact that I'm still with him shows that I got what I was looking for, plus more.
Troy has a lot of experience in personal & group training, and knows how to push us hard without resorting to
yelling or barking orders at us. Everybody works hard, but we have a laugh occasionally too.
The fitness test at the beginning of the month is a great way of seeing where you are up to with your fitness levels,
and it's a great feeling when I can slice a minute or two off my previous month's time.
Sometimes it's hard to get up for a 6.00am class, but by the end of the class I'm so glad I made the effort -
and if I miss a class, I wish I hadn't!

"By a stroke of luck, I stumbled on Troy via a google search for a training group in Centennial Park.
I couldn't have been luckier, as what I have found is a great group of people led by an amazing trainer.
Troy really knows his stuff, and manages to make every session different so that in more than a year of consistently
coming I've never once been bored. I'm always challenged, and my fitness has improved out of sight.
Training outside is an awesome way to start the day - it gives me more energy & almost always puts me in a good mood.
I can't imagine going back to a boring gym membership and doing the same old thing every day, when this is the alternative!"

"Troy's philosophy of overall body training, fitness and
healthy lifestyle changes have kept me coming back"

I am off to Spain for 6 weeks and what do you think I have been most concerned about in relation to packing,
accommodation, finding and missing?
Well I'll tell you: it has been, packing a skipping rope, accommodation with a gym,
finding a park in the cities I visit and missing 6 weeks of training. SERIOUSLY!!!
So who is responsible for this ridiculous behaviour and mind set?
Troy Shipsey, that's who!! After 2 years and 5 months in his morning group training I am fitter, leaner,
healthier and happier with who I have become and what I have achieved. Troy's philosophy of overall body training, fitness and
healthy lifestyle changes have kept me coming back and has also become the greatest influence in my endevour to live a healthier
and fitter life. He was who I needed, to become the person I am today.

"Troy – you have changed my life one ounce of sweat at a time!
From someone who wasn’t fit and hadn’t exercised regularly since school,
I’m now in bed by 10pm and jumping out at 5.35am to get to training (…..most mornings).
I never would have thought I’d have enjoyed exercise - I honestly thought that was for those weird skinny-arsed exercise freaks…..
but now I honestly look forward to it! I love the fact that you have helped and supported me every step of the way to change
lifelong habits and routine, who said 35 was too old to start something new??
You seriously are brilliant at what you do and the fact that the group is great fun means coming every morning is that much more easier.
If it wasn't so good, I wouldn't have brought my sister along now would I!!!
Many many many thanks."

"The belt is down to levels I haven’t seen in a long time and I feel great"

|
Having completed a beginners group training before and being an anti-gym type,
I decided to find a more specialised group training environment.
Upon finding Troy’s group the early times fit in well with work as you can still get your training in before a day of work.
Initially the thought of group training is daunting but once meeting the other people, all very friendly even if it is 6am!
My goal for the training was to loose some unwanted weight and get generally fitter. After just 6 months I have gained both and more.
The belt is down to levels I haven’t seen in a long time and I feel great.
Even better the enjoyment of the training is still there.
With such variety I find there is no burnt out or dread of the following days training as you know it’ll be different.
Working with Troy has been great, he is extremely knowledgeable and focuses on technique ahead of volume.
His approach has encouraged me to personally push myself, rather than him having to scream and shout.
“You only get out as much as you put in” rings true for all. If your even contemplating the idea of it just do it. You won’t look back.
